Our Chief Instructor is a former Royal Navy Chief Flying Instructor with over 40 years experience at sea. He also runs the sail training at the local sailing club. He will stretch your boating capabilities while knowing when to step in to keep things safe - the perfect balance between laid back and alert. Blue Sky Seasports is a recognised RYA Training Centre with commercially coded boats to reassure you of a high quality experience.
Our training area is sheltered from the prevailing winds and offers some of the most beautiful harbours in the country and away from crowded Solent.

Yacht Training
Welcome aboard our sturdy Hunter 32 ft yacht with 6 berths. Our courses cater for absolute beginners on Start Yachting courses up to Dayskipper and beyond.
Powerboat Skills
Our 5.8m Avon RIB, capable of over 30 knots provides the perfect platform for developing boat handling skills in the tidal estuary and out to sea, while a smaller inflatable caters for newcomers.
Learn navigation and seamanship, understand weather and the safety equipment onboard a yacht so that when you got to sea, you can concentrate on the practical aspects.
